What are the costs involved in a rental phone?
The costs involved are the rental fee for the cell phone, airtime charge, delivery and pick-up charge and sales tax. In addition, voice mail is optional for $5.

Billing
What is a credit card authorization?
A credit card authorization allows the renter to possess a rental cell phone and to receive other services from PandaPhone without having to pay a deposit. Upon receipt of a cell phone rental order, PandaPhone processes a $100 authorization on the renter's credit card which permits the credit card company to set aside a
$100 charge against the renter's credit card for 30 days. The credit card authorization also allows PandaPhone to not charge the renter for services received until the end of the rental period which most renters find beneficial.
Is there a cancellation fee if I cancel my order?
If the rental is cancelled before the phone is shipped, there is a $10 cancellation fee. Once the package is shipped, the renter is responsible for the shipping fee as well as the cancellation fee.
What happens if I lose my rental cell phone?
In the event that you lose your cell phone during your trip, please contact PandaPhone immediately to discontinue all services to prevent additional charges. The renter is responsible for the replacement value of the cell phone as listed below:

When will I receive my bill?
The bill will be sent to you within a week after your rental phone is returned to us. However, an itemized bill will not be available until the middle of the following month.
Orders
How far in advance should I place my order?
You may place your order as far in advance as you desire. However, a minimum one-week advance order is required to avoid express order charges.
How do I place an order?
Placing an order is simple. You may order online or call our toll free number at 1-866-574-2050. Please have your itinerary ready when placing your order over the phone.
Delivery & Return
How do I get my phone?
The cell phone package can be delivered to a U.S. address by USPS, or to a hotel anywhere in mainland China.
Can you deliver my rental cell phone to an airport?
At this time, PandaPhone is not able to deliver a rental cell phone to an airport.
How do I return my rental cell phone?
You may simply leave your rental cell phone with the concierge at the hotel specified in your order form. PandaPhone will arrange a pickup at the hotel. Alternatively, you may return it to our U.S. office at 1108 Spring View Lane, Plano, TX 75075.
Using Your Phone
What is an access code?
An access code allows the renter to make calls bypassing China Mobile's standard charges. Making international calls using the access code will gives you a discount of over 65% over the standard international charges. An access code is usually a 5-digit number code provided by PandaPhone.
How do I make a call to the U.S. from China?
Dial access code 17901-001-Area Code-Phone No. Detailed calling instruction can be found on www.pandaphone.com/china_cell_phone_rental.htm. It is also included in the rental package.
How does my family call my China cell phone from the U.S.?
To call to China from the US, dial 011-86-Cell Phone No.
How do I charge the cell phone battery?
Please note that the rental cell phone should only be charged in China due to the different voltage. Please do not attempt to charge it in the U.S. Simply plug the charger into a wall outlet and your cell phone to charge the battery.
Does my PandaPhone work in Hong Kong?
If you need to use your cell phone in both Hong Kong and China, please specify "Hong Kong Usage" when placing your order. You will receive a phone equipped with a dual SIM card that allows you to use the phone both in mainland China and Hong Kong.
