2008 Peace and Reconciliation Study Tour to China
For New Jersey High School Teachers and Educators

New Jersey Alliance for Learning and Preserving the History of World War II in Asia (NJ-ALPHA) will be recruiting and sponsoring two to three New Jersey social sciences, history and humanities high school teachers and educators to participate in the Peace and Reconciliation Study Tour to China during the summer from July 1 to July 14, 2008. This tour was organized by “The Global Alliance for Preserving the History of World War II in Asia (Global Alliance or GA) for its affiliate organizations.

This is the third year for NJ-ALPHA to sponsor NJ teachers to join the tour. In 2006 we had two teachers to participate the tour organized by BC-ALPHA (British Columbia Association for Learning and Preserving the History of WWII in Asia) and we also had 3 teachers to join the GA tour in 2007. The reaction of these five teachers to the study tour has been very positive.
