Airtime Rates
Since the Globe SIM card is an international roaming card, ALL base rates are flat rates inclusive of roaming charges. All value-added service (VAS) calls including recharge requests, balance inquiries, and calls to the voicemail system are billed per minute since the length of these calls will all vary. Call surcharges (see below) are also billed per minute in addition to the base outgoing per-minute rate, NOT per connection.

Activating Your Service:
If you've already retrieved your number, your SIM card and prepaid account are already activated. Here's another way to activate your service if you want to avoid a long-distance call to Optus customer support in Australia:

• Go to Australia
• Dial 555 from your mobile phone. This first-time call to this number will automatically switch you over to customer service.
• Give the operator the 10-digit activation number that you will also find in your SIM package.
• They will get your information and register you and they will supply you with your phone number.
• You may start calling

Checking Your Credit:
You can check your account balance anytime, all you have to do is Dialing 555 (this is a free call) from your mobile phone anytime. Then follow voice instructions and press 1 for your service balance and expiry date.
Recharging Your SIM Card:
To add more talk time to your prepaid account, you will need to purchase an "Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Recharge Card". they can be found in denominations of 30, 50 and 100 Australian Dollars at over 6000 outlets including convenience stores and gas stations.
