Thai princess visits Life and Sunshine Expo Pavilion

Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Life and Sunshine Pavilion in Zone B of the World Expo site on July 19, the first pavilion especially designed for disadvantaged people during World Expo’s 159-year history. The princess learned about the medical and aid facilities used by disadvantaged people and watched a film called “Miracle of Life.” She also enjoyed calligraphy, painting and facial make-up craft shows and visited interactive exhibitions inside the pavilion.

The pavilion calls for more understanding and attention for disadvantaged people through various exhibitions to ensure they have a better life in the future. Its themes are the elimination of discrimination, the alleviation of poverty, a passion for life and a fair society and a better urban life for disadvantaged people.
