PandaPhone is a U.S.  corporation,  with branch offices located in major cities in China.  PandaPhone was founded in 2003;  its creation was sprung from one person's effort to find a solution to a problem shared by many of her friends.

Upon the completion of a professional degree at Purdue University in the U.S,  our founder Ms. Lin returned to China and was often consulted by college friends and their families about their visits to China.  Almost everyone sought her help to rent China cell phones so they could stay in touch with home.  To her frustration,  Ms. Lin discovered that there was no rental cell phones available in China.  Ms. Lin thus founded PandaPhone in 2003 to provide affordable cell phone rental and sales of related products to visitors.

Since its humble beginning,PandaPhone has grown over 100% annually.  In 2006,  PandaPhone served over 12,000 customers that included employees from Sun Microsystems,  a delegation to China from the California government,  and the patrons of the Canton Trade Fair.  In addition,  PandaPhone partners with other wireless providers,  travel agencies,  and non-profit organizations to provide wireless services to their clients.Today,  PandaPhone offers a wide variety of wireless communication products,  including the sale and rental of cell phones,  Blackberries,  SIM cards,  and airtime recharge service.
